DRESSAGE NZ FINANCE OFFICER – POSITION APPOINTED TO THE DRESSAGE NZ BOARD

The position of Finance Officer for Dressage NZ becomes available by rotation at the beginning of the financial year (1 June 2018)
The Finance Officer is a member of the Dressage NZ Board
Sara Bright who has give the sport many years of outstanding service in the role has indicated she will not be seeking reappointment for a further three year term. The good news is, we will still see her at key events in the role of Scorer Extraordinaire…

DRESSAGE NZ NATIONAL JUDGES OFFICER & JUDGES SUB-COMMITTEE
The role of Judges Officer PD 2018 is available by election for a three year term. Sue Hobson has completed her two year tenure 2016-18 and is eligible to stand for a further three year term. Sue has indicated her availability for re-election. A Nomination form 2018 is attached.
There are no vacancies by rotation on the JSC in 2018. Linda Warren-Davey is scheduled to stand down by rotation in 2019 and Judith Cunningham in 2020. This procedure as outlined in the Terms of Reference assists succession planning and a degree of continuity

The 2018 Planning Forum will be held at the West Plaza Hotel Wellington on Tuesday 10th & 11th April 2018 beginning at 5.30pm. Delegates and interested members should plan to arrive in time for a 5.30pm welcome and dinner followed by an evening session until 9pm. The meeting will recommence on Wednesday 11th at 8.30am and finish at 3.45pm.
The Planning Forum will receive remits for rule changes and other topics for discussion. Remits which are passed at the Forum will go back to areas and come forward again to conference for ratification.
The 2018 Dressage Conference & Committee meeting will be held at the Distinction Palmerston North Hotel (Cuba St) on 30th June & 1st July.
Conference will begin at 9.30am on Saturday followed by the Awards Dinner. Committee meeting will commence 9am Sunday and complete no later than 3.45pm. Booking details to follow.
