ESNZ chief executive Julian Bowden has issued the following statement regarding an incident at the North Otago A&P Show on Friday.
“We are as disappointed as everyone else is to see this kind of behaviour and as this rider is a current and competitive member of ESNZ, we will be conducting a full investigation into the incident,” he said.
Mr Bowden reminds members they are expected to be respectful and considerate to others, which includes a zero tolerance for bullying, and a high standard of welfare for their horses.
