Hayley Pickmere aboard Irishmore
ESNZ Eventing are very pleased to announce the appointment of Hayley Pickmere to the position of Sport Manager for Eventing.
Hayley has a nursing background and has worked at ACC for the past 6.5 years supporting seriously injured children and youth. Hayley not only brings outstanding skills to the position, but has ridden horses from an early age, being involved in young rider dressage before catching the wonderful Eventing bug 15-ish years ago, so already has an insight into our sport!
ESNZ CEO Julian Bowden said he was looking forward to welcoming Hayley into the team knowing that she will be a great asset to equestrian and to eventing.
In confirming the appointment of Hayley, Eventing Chair Margaret Evans said that Eventing is fortunate to have someone of Hayley’s calibre, and her knowledge of the sport, and her enthusiasm for it, is exciting for the whole eventing community.
Hayley herself said that she is thrilled to be the newly appointed Eventing Sport Manager and that she hopes that everyone will find her approachable from her experience in previous roles. “I will endeavour to always be contactable therefore please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I am extremely excited to be a part of continuing the development of Eventing NZ”
Hayley commences the role from March 28th.
