Notice from Transpower

From time to time Transpower uses helicopters to inspect or undertake maintenance work on our high voltage network at low levels.  While we notify landowners beneath our lines and advertise the work in local newspapers we are aware that neighbouring properties (near but not under the lines), may wish to receive notice of helicopter work too.  This may be particularly important for sensitive land uses like breeding or raising horses.

Register to be notified of upcoming helicopter work

We would like to improve how we notify owners close to our lines, and we have set up an easy two-step process to do just that:

  1. First check online to see if your property is near our lines by looking at our network map.
  2. Email us to register your property on our mailout database
