Young Rider York Corporation Teams Announced
The Dressage NZ selectors have announced the eight young riders who will contest the Richmond Saddlery sponsored 2023 Inter Island Team Dressage Challenge at the Evo Events Under 25 Dressage Youth Festival at the Fiber Fresh NEC Taupo on Friday and Saturday
South Island Team
FEI Young Rider: Gemma Lewis & Ruanuku R (Canterbury)
FEI Pony: Paige Fitzgerald & Greenmoor Euphoria (Canterbury)
Medium Level: Madeleine Collins & Buckton Denniston (Canterbury)
Advanced Medium: Holly Hanson & Hot Gossip (Canterbury)
North Island Team
FEI Young Rider: Madison Schollum & Kinnordy Golda (Waitemata)
FEI Pony: Frankie Lawn & Pied Piper Trick or Treat (Taranaki)
Medium Level: Willa Aitken & Equestro Dexterous (Northern Hawke’s Bay)
Advanced Medium: Amy Sage & HPH Furst Welcome (Waikato)
150 combinations will contest the Championships over two days beginning with the Lead Rein competitors and culminating in the Under 25 Grand Prix. Waikato’s Lucarne Dolley is defending the title for the KH Arvan Trophy that she and Ardmore have won in 2020, 2021 & 2022.
