It is an exciting era for the sport to see the depth of competition at FEI Young Rider level and the commitment of South Island riders to come north on their own horses rather than competing on borrowed horses. This makes it a true interisland challenge and with three riders of the four riders in each team competing at FEI Young Rider level a new level has been reached for this competition .

Meg & BL About Time were recent NZL winners of the Int I FEI Dressage World Challenge, Giselle Conway & Springfield Passion Hit were runners up and more recently were Champion Small Tour combination at the Wairarapa Premier League

In the North, Madison & Rebecca were second and third respectively in the Int I at the Waitemata Premier League event at the weekend and are also showing great form

Good luck to all riders – may the best team win
