New Zealand eventers and showjumpers have had an action-stacked week all over the world.

In Austria, Richard Gardner and Calisto 5 placed fifth in the 1.50m Gold Tour international at Linz-Ebelsberg. The 48-strong class was won by Andreas Schou (DEN) aboard Lady Corlina who was clear in 64.19 seconds, with Jorne Sprehe (GER) aboard Sprehe Hot Easy in 65.04, and Helmut Schonstetter (GER) with Campino MR third in 65.27. Richard and Calisto 5 were clear in 66.73 seconds.

Donna Edwards-Smith was the best of the Kiwis at the Adelaide International CCI5*-L in Australia, placing third aboard DSE Mendoza. The leaderboard took a few good shuffles through the three disciplines, with Donna working her way up through the 11-strong field from 10th after the dressage, to fourth post the cross country, and onto the podium after the showjumping for a final tally of 63.3 penalty points. The class was won by David Middleton aboard WEC In The Money on 47.8. Charlotte Edwards on Just de manzana was sixth and Diane Gilder with Your Attorney seventh.

In the UK, Jesse Campbell and Misty Liberty Lane headed home the 55-strong CSI2*-S class, remaining on their 27.9 penalty point dressage score for the duration. Coming in for second was Chelsea Pearce (GBR) aboard Kilnaboy Buffet on 28.7, with Eliza Bell (GBR) and Butts Ackerman in third on 29.4.
