Property Brokers is New Zealand’s second largest privately owned real estate company. With over 850 staff working in over 60 locations across provincial NZ, they specialise in residential, lifestyle, rural, and commercial real estate. Through their property management division, they manage one of the country’s largest rent rolls. And we are excited to have Property Brokers on board as a National Horse Grand Prix Class sponsor.
“It was only natural to support Equine Sport NZ with their National Grand Prix Class,” says Chris Moore, Regional Manager for Property Brokers Waikato. “Having a strong rural presence in our community includes supporting equine enthusiasts with their real estate needs, and we have a lot of experience there,” he says.
What makes Property Brokers unique is their people. They are a true team known across the provinces for playing a significant role in their local communities. They are immensely proud to live, work, and play in the communities and regions they serve and value commitment, community, family, and fun.
Chris, his wife Teresa, and many of the Waikato team have multiple equine interests, from racing, breeding, and equestrian activities to pony club memberships and junior equestrian events with the kids. “Our Waikato real estate agents have historically been involved in equine pursuits in many ways. You cannot live in Waikato and not know someone involved with horses,” says Moore. “Within our team alone, we have Pip Howells, a FEI Level 3 Jumping Course designer, Alan Copeman, who owns and operates Villa Park Equestrian with his wife Mary, and many have shares in racehorses, children working as stud hands in the summer months, kids involved in equestrian pursuits, and to top it off, we support the local Polo Community. All generations are involved, and we love it,” he says.
Supporting Equine Sport NZ and the National Grand Prix Class aligns perfectly with Property Brokers’ commitment to the community and their passion for equine sports. The company’s involvement goes beyond just sponsorship; it is a reflection of the personal interests and activities of its team members, particularly those in the Waikato region. This partnership is not just about business; it’s about sharing a common passion and supporting the growth and success of equine sports in New Zealand
Property Brokers has operated in the Waikato region since 2012, when it opened its first branch in Matamata. Since then, it has opened ten more regional branches from Raglan to Turangi.
