It’s been another cracking weekend but busy for US-based Sharn Wordley.

Competing at the Wellington Equestrian Centre in Florida, Sharn and Brin d’or De Haute Melen Z were ninth in the $50,000 FEI CSI3* qualifier and went on to finish 11th in the $150,000 FEI CSI3* Grand Prix, which was won by Luis Sabino Goncalves (POR) and Scoop de Septon Z. Just five of the 28 starters moved through to the jump-off. Champion League was 12th in the class. Both of Sharn’s mounts picked up four faults in the opening round.

He teamed up with Mick Jagger to win the $40,000 CSI3* 1.45m, coming home double clear in 33.09 seconds at the front of the 18-strong field. He was also ninth on Champion League.

At the Ocala Holiday Classic, Sharn won the 28-strong $25,000 Grand Prix aboard Valentine Car and was sixth on Hagelin. Earlier in the show Hagelin placed fourth in the $10,000 HITS Open Prix.
