The FEI Pacific League World Cup Final in conjunction with Oro Dressage by the Lake got underway in ideal conditions at Takapoto Estate near Cambridge today
All horses were accepted for the three FEI competitions, the CDIW, CDI 3* and CDIY. Winners of the Equestic Horse Inspection Best Presented awards were CDIY – Rebecca Mobberley (Sayonara FE), CDI3* Liz Hutson (Hapsburg PSH) and CDIW (Wendi Williamson) Don Vito MH
There is a lot at stake in Friday’s CDIW with both Melissa Galloway & Wendi Williamson looking to improve their FEI Group G rankings as they contest a place for NZL at the Paris Olympics 2024 and scores good enough to meet the NZ Olympic Committee selection criteria,
Competition begins at 8am Friday. The draw and live scores can be viewed on Evo Events plus there will be livestreaming all day on Horse & Country TV from the Fiordland Discovery Premier Arena. Spectator Judging is also available for dressage fans to test themselves against the Judges from the FEI Spectator Judging App
Entry and event parking is free all three days for spectators, with 24 Trade Stands and great selection of food and refreshments at the Takapoto Bar & Cafe and a wide selection of food trucks
