Over the next few weeks Areas will be confirming which show dates they will be hosting the Land Rover Jumping Challenge and this will be updated to the Dates Card.
This Series is for teams of 4 combinations, which must include one pony combination. The series is based on results from Jumping and Show Hunter, and requires teams to compete in both SJ and SH.
Eligible pony combinations to be competing at 1.00m or less. Eligible horse combinations to be competing at 1.10m or less.
Teams organise and register themselves and may include combinations from any or several ESNZ areas within the team. All members and horses/ponies must have current ESNZ membership, Equine registration, and Jumping Discipline Annual start.
The winning team will receive $1,000 prize money and rugs.
Current Shows Hosting the Land Rover Jumping Challenge are:
- 15-16 October, Otago Spring Show (Mosgiel)
- 4-6 November, Waikato World Cup Show (Takapoto)
- 11-13 November, Auckland – North Island Champs (Pukekohe)
- 4 December, Rewa & Districts Sports (Ohingaiti), Show Hunter only
- 27-29 January, Larsen Sawmilling Jumping & Show Hunter Champs (Gisborne)
- 10-12 February, Taihape Show Jumping Champs, Jumping only
