Oceania/Trans Tasman
The Oceania Competition (Trans Tasman as formerly known) is a bi-annual Eventing teams competition between New Zealand and Australia for Seniors and Young Riders.
The Trans Tasman Trophy was donated by Tony Coote, of Angus & Coote (Sydney jewelers), who was a top eventer. Tony rode as an individual at the World Equestrian Championships at Gawler, SA in 1986 on Scooty Muldoon. Tony passed away at age 79 in 2018.
