Date: 23th August – 7th September 2014
The seventh edition of the Games was held in Normandy, France and over fifteen days of competition 884 athletes and 1,243 horses competed in Dressage, Driving, Endurance, Eventing, Jumping, Reining, Vaulting and Para-Equestrian Dressage. These Games saw an unprecedented attendance by spectators who had come from all over the world to witness this event in 7 different venues dotted around Normandy.
Not only had the venues been adapted to accommodate all the needs of the athletes and their horse but additional effort had been made to make sure that the public felt a proximity to the action. This in turn added to an already electric atmosphere leaving both spectators and athletes with the sound of tumultuous applause ringing in their ears.
