Equestrian Sports New Zealand has joined a growing list of National Federations and organisations who no longer allow the trimming of whiskers or inner ear hair of horses and ponies competing at ESNZ sanctioned events and activities. The decision was made in conjunction with New Zealand Pony Club Association, and now lists the banned activity under ESNZ General Regulations, Article 132: Abuse of Horses.
