The Roadshows are now well underway as Equestrian Sports NZ continues a nationwide programme funded by Sport NZ to boost recreation among participants and athletes across all sports.ย ย They are being held at eleven locations across Aotearoa New Zealand, co-ordinated by Equestrian Sports NZ National Development Manager Ashra McAvinue.ย The Roadshows are listed below.

Rangitahi/younger riders (10-24) are encouraged to join in all our events. In particular, come to our Roadshows in Canterbury and Southlandย where we will be joined by Samantha Jones our Community Development Manager-Youth and Coaching.ย These have been noted below (YOUTH REP):

The excitement is mounting and we have more riders than ever before!ย Over 100 schools have entered in this year’s Interschool Champs.ย There are some spectacular prizes and fun events this year, including the Hobby Horse teams freestyle dressage evening and the Dunstan Bingo & Pizza Nights.ย Change the Rein and Leg Up will be looking for displays of great sportsmanship from our younger riders who will receive a special Change the Rein prize pack.ย And a team in each island will win a beautiful Canter for Cancer Sportsmanship Award Trophy Rug to be awarded to each member.ย Plus supporting our young riders and giving back to the sport is the Evoevents Best Performed Rider Award.ย Follow the action on our Facebook and Instagram pages from 28-31 August at the Dunstan Fiber Fresh NEC, McLeans Island and the Fiber Fresh NEC, Taupo.ย ย More under ourย YOUTH PROGRAMMES section.ย See you there!ย
