The AMS Saddlery Pony Grand Prix Series was an exciting one that saw Daniella Jelliman and Lottie Bull go head to head from the very start, with both girls dominating the North Island classes throughout the season.

Aboard TCG Centadel (Jet), Lottie won a whopping eight classes, three of which were Premier classes that gave her the maximum 20 points.

“I wasn’t really focused on the series, until HOY was cancelled, and then I was more focused on it. I wanted to win something big – for Jet, he deserves it a lot”.

Lottie headed into Series Final with a slight lead on Daniella, but the title was not secure. It would come down to whoever picked up more points in the final class of the season. Fittingly, both girls headed into the jump off, maintaining the consistency they had showed all season. Daniella was first out on Tallyho Scoundrel, and she put down another clear in a time that looked good enough for the win. But Lottie and Jet had other ideas, they flew through the finish flags in a quicker time, and with all the rails still standing, the Series Title was theirs!

“At Series Final, I knew that he could do it if I had the right mindset. He wanted to win it as much as I did, and I knew that we could as long as I rode him well. It was a very fun series, at the end of the day, we all get along and everything.”

It was Lottie’s first time winning the series, and she thought it was “pretty cool!” She will be contesting the series again this season, which will be her last on ponies, and her aim is simply the same as last season! She is thankful to Jet’s owners, Fiona and Sophia Hall for giving her the ride on their superstar pony.

“Fiona thought the series win was very cool too,  I am very grateful for the opportunity that she has given me. I am super thankful to Fiona and Sophia for trusting me with him”.
