The Let’s Jump Easter Classic put on an egg-cellent show, attracting competitors from all over for one last chance at picking up some valuable series points ahead of the Series Final Show.

The Property Brokers Grand Prix saw a competitive jump off with five combinations going head to head. Kylee McCambridge came out on top with her lovely mare, Waitangi TikTok, posting a double clear and racing through the flags just ahead of Emma Gaze and Tallula Bug, who also jumped double clear for second place. Tara Gower rounded out the podium on Riverhills Legend with a speedy four fault round.

The AMS Saddlery Pony Grand Prix saw just the one clear round coming from Daniella Jelliman and Tallyho Scoundrel who took the win. Daniella also placed third on Korokipo Kid with a four fault round, Lucy Oliver also picked up four faults aboard Doctor Jones for second place.

Katharine Coleman made a worthwhile trip across the Cook Strait , as she took out The Brave Pants Company Pro Am on Double J Sunshine with a fast double clear. Tessa Ranger also jumped a double clear on Dakarra WHS, but couldn’t quite catch Katharine’s time, for second place. Another South Islander, Sonia McKerchar, also made the long trip north worthwhile as she picked up third place on Riverhills Bayliner, with a four fault jump off round.

Seven combinations got through to the FMG Young Rider jump off, and with none of the first four competitors able to keep a clean slate, Yun FanLing took the slow and steady approach on Charmed Escudo MSNZ to capture that elusive clear round. A decision that paid off, as those that followed him also faulted, handing him a well deserved win. Tara Gower was over eight seconds faster, but leaving one rail on the floor saw her finish in second place on Quintress Ula V GNZ. Sophia Blackbourn also dropped a rail on LT Holst Zalato Blue for third place.

The Mainland Coachwork Junior Rider gave the spectators some great evening entertainment, with four contesting the jump off, three of which were double clear. Chloe Armstrong was first out on Double J Celine, and they really set the standard with a clear round in 47.55, but their lead was short-lived, and it was Lauryn Hamblyn and Lumos who lit up the indoor arena when they stopped the clock in 47.53 with zero penalties, to take out the class. Emily Oliver came in third with her new ride, Glenara C-Star.

Jeremy Clark rode off with the win in the Dunstan Horsefeeds Amateur Rider when he jumped the sole double clear on his big grey, Dynavyte Corysian Ego Z. Ally Carson came in second on The Garrison, and Christine Cornege in third on Dominick MH, both picking up four faults.
