The FEI Board has approved changes to the Equine Prohibited Substances List (EPSL), following recommendations from the FEI List Group. These updates are now published on https://inside.fei.org/, giving National Federations, athletes, and support teams time to review and prepare.ย You will find the list about halfway down this page: https://inside.fei.org/content/anti-doping-rules.
The revised EPSL will come into force on 1 January 2026.

Some substances have shifted categories (e.g., from Controlled to Banned), and new entries have been added.
โข Veterinary teams, riders, and support crews should begin familiarising themselves with the list now to avoid unintentional violations.
โข Staying informed helps protect horse welfare and ensures fair play across all levels of competition.
