Equestrian World Tours with Sally Elwell takes you on an equestrian trip of a lifetime. Visiting the UK Europe, South America, and Australia, they include going to some of the biggest shows in the world and touring the yards of some of the UK and Europe’s top riders, as well as attending masterclasses and visiting many fabulous cities and tourist hot spots.
EWT tours are fully inclusive, ideal for any age and gender. Everything is organized for you including flights, accommodation, transport, entry to masterclasses, events, and yards, allowing you to fully enjoy the experience and truly have the trip of a lifetime.
Sally Elwell is the founder of Equestrian World Tours. She was born and grew up in Kent, in the southeast of England, and has loved and been involved in horses from the time she could walk. She understands the passion that encapsulates those that have a love of horses and wants to share all the wonder and glory that is offered on the other side of the globe with those down under that are willing to take the plunge.
Sally started her riding career as an Eventer before finding her passion for Dressage. She ran a large livery yard in the beautiful town of Sevenoaks in Kent for many years before moving to New Zealand in 1998. It was here in NZ where she followed her passion for dressage and competed and trained to Grand Prix including winning the CDN GP at Horse of the year in 2016 .
Sally married in NZ and had two daughters. Her main focus over the past years has been bringing up her two beautiful girls and helping them develop their riding careers. She also owns and manages a dental practice, which has polished her management and organisation skills.
New Zealand is now home for Sally. She loves the lifestyle and freedom NZ offers; however the one thing Sally really misses about the UK are the big shows and the beautiful yards. Sally has recognised whilst talking with friends, there are a lot of passionate horse people from this side of the world that would love the opportunity to visit the UK and Europe to experience some of these big shows. However it seems people are overwhelmed by how to make such a trip a reality. This was how EWT was born. Sally is passionate about making a trip like this a reality for whoever is willing to go. Making memories in an exclusive equestrian adventure is something that any enthusiastic horse person would treasure for a lifetime, and Sally’s mission is to make your dream a reality.
Sally’s passion for the horse world, her love for people, great organisation skills coupled with her knowledge of the UK and the horse world in the northern hemisphere, along with her connections to world class riders make her the ideal partner in making your equestrian adventure come true!
