It is with immense sadness that ESNZ Jumping and Show Hunter acknowledges the passing of Stu McLeod. From his announcer’s chair, Stu was a supporter of every rider who entered the ring at so many shows.Β Β
He was Horse of the Year’s premier arena announcer for 17 years and a very entertaining MC for Hall of Fame dinners too.

He was a keen observer of all the goings on in the world of showjumping and a solid sounding board for many. His kind words and honest but tactful input β always with his trademark smile β was appreciated by all.

Stu was on the ESNZ board for some years and a mentor to many as they negotiated their way through the governance environment of our sport. He will be remembered for his incredible support of all things jumping.
