Fiora Au has been elected as Chair of Dressage at the Dressage AGM on Saturday
“I’m honoured to have been elected as Chair of the Dressage NZ Board, and am deeply grateful for the support and trust shown by so many. Even in just my first day chairing the Committee meeting and speaking with board members, I’ve been encouraged by the dedication and capability of so many people who are united in their passion to see our sport grow and thrive. Special thanks must go to Sarah Hazlewood for her time as the Acting Chair, and we are very fortunate that she remains on the board as Finance Officer.
Together, I believe we can preserve and refine what already works well, while also leaning into the hard conversations needed to tackle the challenges facing our sport. My hope is that we will find creative and courageous ways forward to ensure that dressage in New Zealand is inclusive, sustainable, and always anchored by our love of the horse.
