ESNZ High Performance has undertaken the mid-year reviews of all discipline high performance squads. The review included the consideration of new talent ID athletes, which saw the December applicants undergo an assessment process against the attributes included in the Talent ID squad criteria. This was the first selection review done under the revised squad criteria and new selection panels for each discipline.

Depth, talent and commitment are highlights for ESNZ high performance general manager Jock Paget as the revised squads for dressage, eventing, endurance and jumping are announced.

“It’s exciting to see the depth coming through across the various stages of the pathway and the number of athletes wanting to be part of the ESNZ HP system,” says Jock. “We are grateful for the huge amount of work done by the selection teams of each discipline in their first round of squad selection under the new cycle as we build towards the Olympic Games in Los Angeles (2028) and Brisbane (2032).”
