The SGA has been called to consider the following alterations to the Equestrian Sports New Zealand Constitution.

The meeting has been called by the Board under Rule 10.5 (a) of the Constitution.

The only business to be considered under Rule 10.6 (a) of the Constitution is outlined below.

  1. Removal of any reference to NEC’s in the Constitution Section 14.

  2. Update of Section 15 relating to member complaints.

  3. Timing of receiving motions for a General Assembly change to 30 days rather than 21 days. This allows 9 days to receive and distribute documents to members within the required 21 days.

  4. Expressly state that members, on becoming members, are governed by not only the Constitution, but also the Rules, Codes of Conduct, Policies and General Regulations.
