Aussie-based Kiwi Josh Collins and Cornel have placed third in the Chatham Park Cup CSI-W World Cup Qualifier in Sydney. The class was won by Billy Raymont aboard Caprino.
Sharn Wordley enjoyed success at Ocala in the United States. He and Champion League were eighth in the $50,000 YETI Grand Prix with a four fault opening round in the 23-strong class which was won by Tracy Fenny (USA) on MTM Apple. Sharn teamed up with Hagelin to win the 43-strong CSI3* 1.45m class and earlier in the show were 10th in the 43-strong CSI3* 1.45m which was won by Alessandra Volpi (USA) aboard 197 Glamour.
Annabel Francis had a solid run in Belgium with a ninth place finish in the CSI2* 1.45m aboard Nebraska Van ‘T Vianahof. The Kiwis were double clear in the 76-strong class which was won by Gilles Thomas (BEL) aboard Lavanoche T&L Z who were double clear in 40.17 seconds. The top 10 were all double clear with Annabel coming home in 44.52.
Daniel Meech and Ortolaan van het Ruytinxbos were 11th in the 1.45m CSI2* Big Tour at the Peelbergen CSI2* in The Netherlands, picking up four faults in the jump-off. Sixty-one started the class, which was won by Tom Wachman (IRL) aboard Obora’s Laura with a double clear in 33.23. The top nine were all double clear, with Daniel crossing the flags in 36.79 ion his four-fault jump-off round.
