As our Demo & Dabble event draws closer, we continue the introductions to our ambassadors for the upcoming North Island event …. here we have the lovely Ruth Dawber and Daryl Owen who represent Endurance and CTR. These ladies are passionate about Endurance and CTR and are looking forward to delivering lots of fantastic information and insights into Endurance riding at the event. They are approachable and friendly and can’t wait to answer any questions you may have about the sport and hope to see you out there giving it a go! More to come this week as we continue to roll out stories from our other super discipline ambassadors….
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 “𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼 & 𝗗𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗹𝗲”?
Demo & Dabble is a fun and friendly multidiscipline event that oozes with appeal for equestrians wanting to have a go at intro level with no pressure. We’ve hand-picked a team of awesome Ambassadors from our membership to mentor grassroots riders at this unique multidiscipline event, to be held at the Waikato Equestrian Centre in Hamilton on 16-17 November. The Demo & Dabble concept came out of workshops set up from the Strengthen and Adapt Roadshows, after a survey identified that people felt a passionate need for an event that is fun, social, multi-disciplinary and not necessarily competitive. It is a combination of education (Demo rings) and low-level training / give-it-a-go rings in each discipline (Dabble rings ). We will be offering low level classes in Dressage, SJ & SH, Arena Eventing and a CTR-modelled trail ride that riders can do with a friend or in small groups. And we’re including a half day training session with Heelan Thompkins – one of our top ESNZ coaches. Plus there’s the Saturday Night social evening. Follow the updates on our Facebook Event. Entries are live now on Evoevents. See more on our website. A South Island event is planned for early next year.
