An outline of the camps 

Purpose

Dressage NZ is seeking Expressions of Interest from ESNZ registered Development Coaches or above for the Young Rider Camps in  October 2024.

The camp is designed to offer Young Riders (18 years or younger), at any level the opportunity to have lessons with a higher level ESNZ qualified coach and be involved with other presentations/practical sessions around improving their riding, arena craft and the welfare of the horse, plus other topics such as the scale of training.

Qualification Requirements

●        Coach must be an ESNZ Development Coach or above
●        Coaches must have a current First Aid Certificate at time of camp.

Key Attributes and Role Description

●        Coaches will need to be adaptable and confident coaching both ridden sessions and off horse sessions in respect to topics
            requested by the Development Committee
●        Can constructively voice feedback on video footage, deliver presentations, and lead discussion and observation groups.
