DNZ DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE:ADVANCE NOTICES
COACH DEVELOPMENT CAMP
Friday 6 September (mid-afternoon) – Sunday 8 September. – Selwyn Equestrian Centre, Christchurch.
“To provide opportunities in the sport of Dressage to expand knowledge and increase enjoyment in participation so personal goals may be achieved”.
Due to the resounding success of the North Island Julie Brougham Adult Rider Development Camp, the Dressage Development Committee is delighted to announce our South Island Adult Rider and Coach Development Camp in September.
The purpose of this Camp is to allow coaches and riders to be educated in separate groups but also combining knowledge in group sessions.
Both ESNZ registered and potential coaches are invited to work alongside the Coach Educator, who will also present lectures relating to “how to coach”. The practical part will include observing the lessons of the adult riders and discuss the “how and what to coach” with the Coach Educator.
Coaches and riders will enjoy time together as well to have healthy discussions on various topics including the welfare of horse and rider.
We are in the process of securing the Coach Educator and will advise as soon as he/she is confirmed.
Participants will be on a first come, first paid basis so keep your eyes peeled for the formal application notice.
