Olympian Daniel Meech and Richard Gardner have been enjoying success at Redefin in Germany.

Daniel and Casalligo placed third in the CSI3* 1.35m finale. The 28-strong class was won by Frederik Bak Andersen (DEN) aboard Casey who were double clear in 32.32 seconds, with Daniel also all clean but slightly slower with a 33.67-second round.

Earlier in the show, Richard Gardner and Calisto 5 placed eighth in the CSI3* 1.45m qualifier. Fifty-two started the class which was won by Mynou Diederichsmeier (GER) aboard Quick and Fly who were double clear in 38.28 seconds. Richard picked up four faults in the jump-off in his 39.17-second effort.

Richard also picked up a third and a fourth placing aboard Ippolito in the CSIYH1* first and second qualifiers, going clear in 65.13 seconds in the opener, which was won by Maren Hoffmann (GER) on Feine 39 in 59.97, and clear in 68.09 seconds in the second qualifier, with winner Benjamin Wulschner (GER) and Ilisabeth crossing the flags in 67.05 seconds.

Both Daniel, riding Donjon D’Asschaut, and Richard with Calisto 5 started in the 1.55m Gold Tour Finale with both picking up 12 faults apiece. Briar Burnett-Grant and Chesall also competed at the show.
