Head of Equestrian

Fulltime, permanent

Nga Tawa Diocesan School is home to New Zealand’s largest on-site school equestrian centre. We currently stable 82 horses and 90 of our students ride.

Set amongst 90 acres of rolling Rangitikei farmland, Nga Tawa provides all the facilities young riders need – including three all-weather arenas, a canter track, 80 covered yards and an equine studies classroom. We also have school-owned or leased horses and ponies for girls who don’t have their own.

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Equestrian to lead our vibrant Equestrian Academy.

The successful applicant will work with our Director of Sport to ensure our girls are given every opportunity to excel in their chosen sport of equestrian.

We’re looking for someone to:

  • Lead a team
  • Coach and mentor young women
  • Manage our stables
  • Promote Nga Tawa

If you would relish the opportunity to further Nga Tawa’s equestrian success, then please apply by sending a covering letter, a copy of your C.V and a completed application form to our Director of Sport, Antony Riley, at [email protected]. An application form is available on our website, www.ngatawa.school.nz/vacancies.

Applications close on Monday 23 January 2023.

Term 1, 2023 start.

Onsite accommodation may be available to the successful applicant.
