ALL JUMPING RIDERS

It has come to our attention that a large number of members are missing the “Discipline Start” from their horses’ registrations.  To compete in ESNZ Show Jumping or Show Hunter Competitions, you are required to have an ESNZ Equine Registration PLUS an Annual Jumping Discipline Start.  (Non-Series classes for horses up to 1.10 and ponies up to 1.00m may use flexi-start on the day as an alternative.)

We understand that on the new Website, this is very easy to miss.  When you are registering your horse online, you also have to “Add” a Discipline Start.  It looks like this:

or this:

PRO-AM AND AMATEUR RIDER SERIES

As stated in the Series Conditions, you must be registered as an “Owner”, “Part-Owner” or “Leasee” of the Horse.

You are not eligible to start in a Pro-Am or Amateur Rider Series if you are not currently registered as owner, part-owner or leasee.

5 YEAR OLD BREEDERS SERIES

The East Coast Performance Horses 5 Year Old Breeders Series requires full registration as it is a National Series. Even though it is set at 1.10m, it is not able to be entered under the Casual Horse Membership.

Please read ANNEX 11 of the Jumping Rules to understand the requirements needed to enter this class – Link Here
