The world’s golden couple of eventing, Jonelle and Tim Price, have stormed up the latest FEI World Rankings to sit at numbers two and three respectively.

Oliver Townend (GBR) still leads, sitting on 618 points, with Jonelle on 500 and Tim on 467. The pair were previously sixth and 10th. Michael Jung (GER) has slipped from second to fourth and sits on 454 points.

Jonelle, a three-time Olympian, says it’s great to be back near the top of the leaderboard once again. “We are very happy to return to numbers two and three on the FEI world rankings,” said Jonelle. “It’s nice recognition of consistency at the highest level of our sport which is what we ultimately train and strive for.”

In June, she and Faerie Dianimo were third in the CCI5*-L at Luhmuhlen, was fourth in the CCI4*-L aboard Faerie Magnifico at Strzegom, and picked up a win in the CCI2*-L with Fernhill Kankan and seventh in the CCI4*-S with Faerie Dianimo at Millstreet.

Tim, who claimed the no.1 spot in 2019, was also chuffed. In June he was ninth aboard Spartaco and 10th with Vitali in the CCI5*-L at Luhmuhlen, he placed second aboard Polystar I in the CCI4*-L at Strzegom, and second in the CCI4*-L with Coup de Coeur Dudevin and sixth aboard Happy Boy at Millstreet.
