The Jumping Board is delighted to announce that Dylan Bibby will be taking up the opportunity to compete at the FEI Youth Jumping Competition, an event created by the FEI to provide international competition for riders aged 14-18 years following the postponement of the Youth Olympic Games 2022.

The Youth Jumping Competition, now known as the Youth Equestrian Games, will be held in Aachen (GER) from 23 June until 3 July 2022

Dylan was the overall winner of a two-round competition of the Youth Jumping Competition at the Young Horse Show in Hastings in December.  This competition is run to strict standards provided by the FEI.

Selection for the Youth Equestrian Games follows the same format as other FEI Events such as the Children’s challenge and the World Challenge where the winner of each event has been invited to attend subject to them having performed at a satisfactory level in the qualifying competition.  Dylan is also a member of the Talent Id Jumping Performance Squad and will be working with the HP Jumping Performance Manager to prepare for this event which takes place on borrowed horses at 1.20 – 1.30m.

More to come as the event timetable is made available in coming weeks.
