Equestrian Sports New Zealand is seeking applications for the role of ESNZ Eventing High Performance Manager (UK)
ABOUT EQUESTRIAN SPORTS NEW ZEALAND
Equestrian Sports New Zealand (ESNZ) is the umbrella body of the five major equestrian sports disciplines in New Zealand – Dressage, Endurance, Eventing, Showjumping and Para-equestrian. It is responsible for promoting all equine activity in New Zealand across the five disciplines as well as managing the global high performance programmes across these five disciplines including equestrian representation at the Olympics and World games.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong, resilient and challenging ‘Team Manager’ with an excellent manner, good communication skills and a strong background in Equestrian. As a key member of the Eventing High Performance Team, ideally based in the UK, you will deliver and be accountable for the eventing high performance campaign for both the Olympic Games and World Championships. A high performance background is desirable and eventing knowledge is critical in this role.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Equestrian Background and Eventing knowledge
• Strong contextual knowledge at HP level
• An understanding of the Eventing competitions, rules and environment.
• Experience with performance analytics
• Strong organisational skills, budget management and team leadership
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
This is a role which represents an exciting and rare opportunity for someone to directly influence and facilitate the success of Equestrian Sports New Zealand Eventing Team at Championships.
