PENDING LAUNCH
ESNZ will move to a new database call HorseReg during the week commencing 22 November 2021.
The current database will not be available for registrations from 5pm on Monday 15th November 2021
It will take several days to migrate the data when we go live due to the amount of data we are migrating to the new system,. This means that we will need to take registrations manually from 16 November to the week of the 22 November while we are moving to the new system.
Members who register during this time will be issued with a letter which will act as confirmation that their registration has been received and what they are registering for. This can then be passed onto the secretary of the event or online entry provider.
Please contact the National Office team directly if you need to urgently register during these dates on 04 499 8994 or [email protected]
What can I expect to receive once the new database is launched?
Once the data migration is completed and we are ready to launch the new database, members will receive an email which will contain a link to enable them to reset your HorseReg password and start accessing your HorseReg profile, membership and horse registrations, directories and shop.
This is a one-time link, so once you click on the link you must reset your password.
Please note that the launch date for the new results platform will be advised in a further communication.
REMINDERS
As stated in our previous database updates please note the following:
Credit/debit card payments only
The HorseReg system only accepts payment via Credit or Debit Card. During the week commencing 22 November ESNZ will move to credit card / debit card only payments.
The reasons for notifying members of this now are to:
- enable members who do not have a credit or debit card to look into obtaining one
- enable members who wish to pay this year’s registration by direct credit that they have until the 19 November 2021 to do this.
Transaction fee charge
The new database will charge a 5% transaction fee. This is made up of the following:
- 3.5% – Interpodia transaction fee, this includes payment processor fee, with the remainder of the fee going to Interpodia to cover the use of their system.
- 1.5% – will come back to ESNZ for ongoing maintenance and development of the ESNZ database.
The 5% transaction fee will come into effect during the week commencing 22 November with the launch of the new system. Prior to this date the current fee structure will remain in place.
We received a large number of requests for a refund and are working our way through processing these over the next week or two.
Any members with remaining account credits at the time of launch will be issued with a coupon to use in the new database and will be sent an email with these details.
As with any project this size, there will be a teething period while we all get used to a new system.
Worried you will get stuck? We will have a number of resources to help members to use to the new system, including frequently asked questions and how-to instruction videos. Plus, you can always contact the ESNZ office.
We look forward to working through any issues and feedback with members and continuing to improve the system so that it best serves our members’ needs.

A big thank you to all members who have taken the time to check and update their contact details, it really helped a lot.
