The first of the new-look ESNZ high performance jumping squads have been announced with Tokyo Olympian Daniel Meech and Cinca 3 the only remaining combination on the top squad.

ESNZ high performance general manager Jock Paget earlier announced the changes that saw a far more targeted approach to squads and championships.

“It is great to be able to put these squads out following a month of work on just how we can make the most of the programme thanks to the Plaw family,” said Jock. “Now we are able to offer great support to the riders as they transition through the pathway which is being led by jumping high performance manager Oliver Edgecombe. This is a great opportunity for these talented riders and we are really excited to see them progress. Congratulations to them all.”

Combinations on the High Performance Squad must be committed to and capable of contributing to team targets at championship events.
