The new high performance eventing squads are out with a few changes across the board.
A clutch of combinations from the High Performance Squad will move to the newly-formed High Performance Recognition Squad, established to recognise the great contribution they have made to the sport while acknowledging they are no longer specifically aimed at upcoming championships.

Tim and Jonelle Price are the only two remaining in the High Performance Squad with their horses Xavier Faer and Grovine de Reve respectively.

The only new additions to the High Performance Futures Squad are Matthew Grayling (Taranaki) with Trudeau and Samantha Lissington (UK) aboard Ricker Ridge Rui, while Abigail Long (Levin) moves up to the High Performance Potential Squad.

ESNZ high performance general manager Jock Paget says there is some exciting talent in both the potential and future squads as well as the wheel starts turning in a new Olympic cycle.
