Tim aboard his old campaigner Wesko lead the field on 28.7 penalty points, and he’s also in second spot aboard his nine-year-old grey Spartaco on 30.2. Jonelle and her nine-year-old black Dutch-bred mare Grappa Nera are right on their heels with a score of 30.5 with McClaren rounding out the top four on 31.4.

All of the 10 combinations in the field are under 38 penalty points, leaving no room for complacency.
Tim and Falco are seventh out in the 31-strong CCIIO4*-S class which will get underway overnight.
