An exciting weekend of competition and education is ahead at the Equestrian Entries Youth Festival and the Dressage Youth Forum at the Taupo NEC from 25th -27th January
Record entries have been received for the two-day competition with riders from as far afield as Queenstown in the south and Waimate North in the Bay of Islands keen to show off their arena moves.
The event offers a great team experience for many riders. There is an Area Team Competition, three young South Island riders will ride loan horses generously made available by North Island owners, the York Corporation InterIsland Challenge sponsored by Richmond Saddlery for riders on their own horses plus the exciting New South Wales vs NZL Challenge. The NSW team will be on borrowed horses also generously made available by North Island owners.
Members of the Pryde’s Easifeed Young Rider Development Group will be out in force at the event
The innovative Dressage NZ Youth Forum programme gets underway on Sunday evening after the competition from 6.15pm – 7.15pm and then begins again at 8.45am on Monday 27th. Register at the event or be at the NEC Stadium main office by 8.15am Monday. Everyone welcome at just $10 per family.
