The Bates National Dressage Championships and Webb Equestrian Para Dressage Championships are scheduled for Taupo NEC from 25th -28th March 2020.
Following questions raised in respect of increased fees and some decrease in prize money this year, Dressage NZ has made available further information regarding these circumstances as the sport looks to host the event at the Taupo NEC again following several years at Manfeild Park.
“It was a difficult decision to increase fees and reduce prize money, but the Dressage Board felt that it was the responsible and necessary thing to do in order to ensure the ongoing viability of the National Championships and the ongoing financial stability of Dressage New Zealand” said Dressage Chair Scott McKenna.
