Strong performances across all levels were produced in both the Super 5 League and Zilco Musical Freestyles at the first of the Kiwi ArenaRakes Premier League events at Central Districts and South Canterbury/North Otago in September .
It was great to see Julie Brougham back in action with Steiny at Central Districts, winning the Superior Rubber Surfaces Grand Prix. Melissa Galloway made the trip up from Blenheim to quinella the Zilco Grand Prix Freestyle with her Windermere team, while in the south it was great to see Robert Kofoed, such a great supporter through the Zilco sponsorship back competing successfully (after hip replacements) competing on his Advanced Medium horse First Choice.
