Auction items are live and tickets are selling for this Saturday’s Casino Royale Ball, being held to help raise funds for New Zealand’s WEG-bound showjumpers.

Organisers are encouraging people to get their tickets smartly if they plan on attending the black tie event. Around 36 items will be available through the silent auction including services to stallions, fine wine, holiday experiences, gorgeous food and plenty of horsey and non-horsey items.

These auction items are now live through https://www.32auctions.com/roadtoweg. There is also a link through the Showjumping Waikato FaceBook page.

The auction site is easy to use, and once registered you can put in bids as you like, or enter a maximum amount and it will take care of the rest. Bidders receive emails to let them know when they have been outbid.

Those keen on one of the six items at the live auction but unable to attend on Saturday night, can contact Jaime and she will organise a bidder – this must be in by Friday.

”Everything is coming together,” says Jaime Campbell, who is one of the organisers. “We have already raised over $4000 and the total worth of the goods is around $30,500.”

The fundraiser is one of a number of initiatives behind held to raise around $120,000 for the showjumpers. As well as a fun evening, there will be nibbles throughout, a drink on arrival with a cash bar to follow, all the popular casino games, and prizes for the top four players, with the overall winner taking home a tonne of Fiber Fresh.

Tickets can be bought through Eventfinda and are limited to just 250. Anyone keen to donate to the showjumping effort can contact Kerry (027 430 3230), Jaime (022 455 7284) or Christine (021 520 301), or do so through the givealittle page.
