Olympic showjumper Daniel Meech aboard Fine has placed fourth at the CSI3* in Spangenberg, Germany.

The duo were all clear in the 1.50m qualifier big tour, stopping the clock at 67.58 seconds. Winner Lars Nieberg (GER) and Foster 39 had a two second buffer over their nearest competition, coming home in 61.23 seconds in the 47 strong class which saw just 13 finish with clean slates.

Meech and Fine were also 20th in the 1.50m second 1.5m qualifier after picking up four faults in the opening round. The class was won by Marco Kutscher (GER) aboard SGW Lord Poldy.
