Jesse Campbell and Amsterdam 21 will be the first combination to follow the test ride in the CCI4* at the Luhmuhlen International Horse Trials in Germany tonight.

All the Kiwi eventers are safely through the first horse inspection which happened overnight. Fifty-one horses were presented to the ground jury with just one not accepted. The CIC3* gets underway first, with the CCI4* early afternoon. Sandra Auffarth and Opgun Louvo will do the test ride for the CCI4*.

Campbell is the only New Zealander in action in the CCI4* tonight, when just 24 competitors will be put through their paces. Tomorrow will see Blyth Tait aboard Havanna, Jonelle Price on Faerie Dianimo and Campbell on his second mount, Cleveland. All are towards the end of the 25-strong field.
