Karen Trotter, past Chair of Dressage NZ, and her husband Peter, recognize the value of sportsmanship within Dressage NZ and so yet again, they are promoting this by awarding a $500 training grant to a member (rider or official) who has shown outstanding sportsmanship during the 2017/18 season. The recipient also gets to hold the Windsor Lad Trophy for a year. This trophy is donated by Karen in remembrance of her FEI level horse Windsor Lad, being the first horse she competed at this level, in both islands including the FEI World Dressage Challenge.
