Day one of a fabulous four days of dressage gets underway at the Fiber Fresh Taupo NEC at Rapids Rd on Thursday. The new indoor stadium will be up and running at daybreak with arena familiarization at 7am for the Way to WEG CDI Grand Prix horses followed by the Young Horses. The CDI trot up will be indoors at 9.ooam. Competition will begin with the Elite Equine Nutrition Young Dressage Horse and Pony Championships starting at 9.30am, The age group classes are sponsored by Equibreed, Kiwi Arena Rakes, Equissage and the NZ Hanoverian Society. The Grand Prix has attracted eight starters with the first horse scheduled to go at noon.
The trot up for the Livamol FEI World Dressage Challenge will be on the Landcorp arena at 4pm with a draw for Friday’s start order at 6pm.
