ESNZ Eventing together with Eventing High Performance are pleased to announce the New Zealand Senior Team and reserves for the biennial Oceania clash.

The senior team comprises current members of the ESNZ High Performance Futures Squad, Matthew Grayling (Taranaki) aboard Trudeau and Monica Spencer (Taupo) with Artist, joining them are High Performance Potential Squad member, Christen Lane with her homebred Thunder Cat and NZ World Equestrian Games representative Donna Edwards-Smith aboard DSE Mendoza.

The two reserve combinations are Renee Faulkner riding Mi Focus and Charlotte Edwards with Just de Manzana.

Team members and reserve combinations will attend a training camp with their chef d’Equipe Blyth Tait, prior to the NZ3DE at Taupo in May and again in late May before the team departs for Melbourne on 5 June.

The 2022 Oceania competition is being held as part of the Melbourne International Three Day event, 9th – 13th June at Werribee.

It has been three years since the last Oceania as the 2021 event was postponed due to the Covid pandemic.
