New Draft Rules And Forum

The Endurance Technical Committee has endeavoured to simplify the rules as much as possible by rewording or changing the layout of some to make them easier to read.

And by removing references to the FEI rules and where necessary have inserted the rule into our rule books this should also help to avoid confusion.

To make it possible for riders to compete on the same horse on successive days and to still be able to abide by the mandatory rest periods there are new rules for multi day endurance rides.

For those that compete at club events where there is endurance on one day and CTR on the other day there are rules for combined Endurance/CTR classes.

To try and streamline the results processing the results will need to be sent in a maximum of 10 days following the event rather than the current fourteen days.

However to assist the clubs prior to their events the timeframe for sending in the mini schedule has been reduced from fourteen to seven days.

And the number of Ground Jury members for events with 80km or longer rides has been reduced if there are no more than 30 entries across all classes on the day.

ESNZ Endurance will be holding two Forums to discuss the draft Endurance, CTR and Supplementary Rules will be held in both the North Island and South Island on the 28th October.  CLICK HERE for all the Forum Details
