EVENTING NZ SURVEY FOR EVENTING RIDERS AND SUPPORTERS

Eventing NZ is running two surveys, one for event riders and one for supporters of Eventing, wtih some great prizes up for graps just for completing the survey.

The surveys are aimed at providing baseline information about riders and supporters of Eventing. Having this information will assist the Eventing NZ Board in implementing it’s recently adopted Strategic Plan and better reflect the needs desires and aspirations of our riders, as well as providing our supporters the experience, excitement and enjoyment they expect.

It is really important that the Board has up to date information about Eventing riders and supporters, to assist it in making decisions going forward. The surveys are one way of getting that information.

The surveys are also a first step in Eventing NZ being able to provide better communication to it’s riders and supporters. It is hoped that those who do the survey will agree to having their email address kept on file in order to receive updates and information. For those that do, a weekly email update that will provide all recent news reminders of upcoming events, availability of draws and closing dates, and notification from organising committees about changes to upcoming events. It is hoped the email update will provide more timely information and make it easier to find information/web pages with the links provided.

Eventing NZ is also in the early stages of starting up an Eventers Supporters Club and those supporters that complete the supporters survey will get their first years membership for free. The primary aim of the Supporters Club is to ensure those who support the sport of Eventing feel they are really part of the New Zealand Eventing community.
