Board Member Resignation

1/11/2007 4:01:33 p.m.

Eventing New Zealand elected member Charlotte Gendall has reluctantly announced her resignation from the ENZ Board, effective from October 25 2007.

Charlotte Gendall, who came onto the Board at the 2004 AGM, said it was a cause of great regret that she was stepping down six months ahead of the next scheduled election but time and commitment constraints meant continuing was no longer viable for either herself of the sport.

“I do love Eventing and I will be very happy to contribute in any way I can,” she said. “I very much hope I can keep writing for the Bulletin and like everyone else, I am really looking forward to the results from Hong Kong in 2008.

“The recent new appointments to the Board bring a fresh skill sets and enthusiasm and I have told the group and the new ESNZ CEO Jim Ellis I am only a phone call away if there is anything I can contribute.”

ENZ recently announced the appointment of  three appointed Board members - Mark King, Sally Millar and Carolyn Jolley – in time for its October meeting.
